Off to the Dentist again.

For the 3rd time in 3 weeks I’m off to the dentist again this morning. I am getting the 2nd half of a thorough cleaning. Last week I went for the 1st cleaning and it hurt because my mouth is so sensitive. The dentist wanted to numb me and I said no, but this time if I need it I’m getting it.

He told me to use Sensodyne toothpaste for a week and hopefully that would help with the sensitivity. Guess what, I believe that my teeth and gums are more sensitive now so I’m guessing that the numbing is gonna happen today!

I’ll find out what all needs to be done in this mouth of mine today and I’m sure that my bank will be broke by the time all is said and done. That’s why I’m really pushing my affiliate marketing and Virtual Assistant business.

Until this evening! ;)

Oh Baby Baby!

Oh I’m so excited about my friend Kelly’s new radio show. BabyTalkRadio kicks off it’s first show on June 5th and I can’t wait.

I am looking forward to this show because it’s everything baby. The coolest thing about it is the fact that it has a multitude of hosts, alot of the contributing hosts are my friends in the WAHM world. Heck, I’m even thinking about hosting a few shows, but haven’t decided what I could talk about yet! :)

If you want to talk baby or just listen to other Moms and Dads of babies, yep they already have one host who is a father, then head here and give it a look-see.

Check out the baby blog as well. They give you show information and updates there!

He wants it ALL

Well, ladies and gents it looks like I have a 8 month old multi-tasker. Teething, crawling, pulling up, AND sleeping through the night!

Everything above has happened in the last two weeks with Hunter. I’ve always heard that babies concentrate on one major thing at a time until they get it down pat, then they move on to something else. Not Hunter I guess. I was actually starting to worry because he wasn’t crawling yet and didn’t seem to show any signs that he was even trying or wanted to. That’s because he was sitting back and taking it all in and BAM he did it all.

We have one top tooth broke through and the other really close. This makes a total of 3 teeth we can see now.

He’s too cute when he crawls. He doesn’t like to use his knees, instead he uses his feet! ;) I’m thinking it’s either because he doesn’t like the hardwood floor (even though he does it on the floors with carpet or rugs too) or he just doesn’t like the feeling /pressure on his knees. I don’t think it will be long and he will be trying to walk along things like the couch, coffee table, etc.

He pulls himself up to anything he can: the coffee table, our legs, even Jerry’s head when he’s on the floor playing with him! LOL

On Friday he slept 12 hours without waking and then on Saturday night he slept 10 hours. Jerry & I both kept checking on him just to make sure he was ok!;)

Jerry just keeps saying, “He’s growing up too fast!” I on the other hand love it. Yes, it’s all happening quick, but I love it once they get to walking on their own. I love watching them explore and the motors moving in their head as they are finding new things and how things work is just miraculous to me. Most people love it when their children are still little and not moving around, but not me. My favorite time is between about 1 and 5. My baby is growing up and I LOVE IT! Go Hunter Go!

The Man in Brown: My Hero!

Friday afternoon I went up the road to the country store to get everyone lunch and when I came home the Man in Brown had arrived. It’s a good thing Jerry was here to intercept the package because I would have knocked the poor man over running out to hug him.

My new computer and monitor was sitting inside the door just calling my name when I got home. I scarfed down my lunch and got to work hooking things up. So far I have it hooked up and most of the software I need on it installed, my email set up, etc. Now I just have to figure out the easiest (quickest) way to transfer documents from the old one to this one. I don’t have a CD burner on the old one to burn my documents onto, so I’m thinking I may have to email everything to myself little by little. Oh the time it’s gonna take! LOL

I absolutely love the new PC!! I have a few upgrades that I want to make to it, the main one being I want to up the memory to atleast 1G, but everything else is perfect! Thank you Mom!

Ok, I’m off to play with it now! hehehe

3 packages

I’m anxiously awaiting 3 packages. I can’t honestly say that I’m patient about it either! LOL

I ordered my new computer and monitor earlier in the week and thought I would have them by now. Uh NOPE! According to the store I should have had them on the 24th & 25th, but here it is the 26th and still no toys! I was soooo hoping to have it up and running this weekend, but unless I get it today or tomorrow, Ain’t Happenin’! Awww well I’ll spend the time doing some much needed housework instead!

Yesterday afternoon I logged into MommyFest and found that I had won Wednesday’s drawing! YAYYY! I get a whole box of stuff from exhibitors and sponsers. Though I don’t know what exactly it will contain, I have no doubt it will be full of great stuff!! However, that just means I have added another delivery to my anxiously awaiting list! Thanks Marie and I must say that MommyFest was awesome this year and I can’t wait until next year…who knows I might have something to contribute by then.

That’s All She Wrote

American Idol closed it’s 5th season last night to the tune of 43+ million viewers and 64.3 million votes cast! The Soul Patrol prevailed over the Kat Pack. YAYYYY! The south rose again this season. All 5 seasons have seen someone from the south win.

American has a new idol and his name is Taylor Hicks from Birmingham, Alabama. Although Elliott Yamin was my pick from the beginning and I also backed Chris Daughtry, I’m glad that Taylor won the competition. He seems like such a genuine, laid back, hard working guy.

The finale was packed with lots of familiar faces in the music industry and, in my opinion, was the best finale yet. I have to say that Clay Aiken showing up was the best surprise and absolutely hilarious too!! I love his new look…bye bye nerdy look! Chris did awesome and outsung the lead singer of the band Live, Elliott did awesome with Mary J. Blige, although I have a complaint about that performance. Mary J. took over and never let Elliott have a chance. She stole the stage from him and not in a good way either. Dagon it he was too good to be overshadowed by her. The one thing I think they could have done without was Prince at the end. I’m patiently waiting for next season.

Can’t wait until I get to go see them all live on July 29 in Richmond! Got my tickets and my sister in law and I are going to have a blast!
