Have you heard of booing your neighbors? If not you can learn more about it by clicking here. It really is a cute idea and I think I might just try it this year with a few of our neighbors. Of course they already think I’m nuts around here, so this should fit in just perfectly with their perceptions if they ever find out it was us!

I was reading about booing and was trying to come up with a way that we could implement it in the blogging world…but I just can’t think of how to make it work! If anyone has any ideas please do share in the comments area. Of course Halloween is almost here, but maybe next year we can implement some of the suggestions.

This is the 4th Fall we’ve lived in our house and every year I say I want to decorate for the season and every year I get as far as putting a wreath on the door and that’s about it. Oh wait, we do the pumpkins on the step too!

How could I forget that? Especially since Zach can’t stand putting his hand in them to clean them out so we can carve them. Of course being the odd ball I am this came as a surprise to me because as a child I alway thought that was the best part of creating our jack-o-lanterns. Of course I am not artist and the creative bone never grew in my body, so the whole carving was not all that exciting for me, guess “gutting” the pumpkin was the only other choice I had hu?

So, this year for our pumpkin adventure I’ve decided to save my precious child’s hands and stomach and try painting the pumpkins instead. Guess I should be happy that some things still gross him out hu? I found this awesome little pumpkin painting ebook that is wonderful for moms like me who don’t have a creative bone in their body. I try really I do, but I’m also a perfectionist so 9 times out of 10 that gets in my way.

No, here it is 2 days before Halloween and we still don’t have our pumpkins done! Bad, bad mom I know! But…on a more positive note, we’ve had our costumes picked out for weeks now!

Now, maybe just maybe before Thanksgiving gets here I’ll have the nice little display of straw bails and corn husks in the front yard. Wonder if I can find an ebook on fall decorating? hmmm…

How to Minimize Your Taxes & Maximize Your Profits

I have been meaning to clean out the fridge for a few months (yes I said months) now, but for some reason or another I kept putting it off. Assuming the fact that I could close the door and not see it, therefore lending to the out of site, out of mind thing.

Well Saturday I did it! I emptied the contents and scrubbed to my heart’s content and now we have a nice clean kitchen appliance. Of course it kinda stands out against all the other appliances which still need a good scrub down. Not to mention the whole kitchen that someday will get remodeled and be a kitchen that I can actually enjoy being in. That all comes after the back room (soon to be the Zman’s hangout), the nursery (which needs a whole new change), the bathroom (which I’m tired of seeing half done for what seems like since the day we moved in) and the installation of central heat and air (which YEEHAW is coming this spring).

So, as you can see my lack of motivation when it comes to my kitchen is all due to the fact that I need a new one. If you know me, you know my kitchen is the messiest and least kept up room in the house. If you know my mom, you know she is probably cringing in her seat as she’s reading this because the kitchen is the heart of her home and always has been. Someday mama, someday I will make you proud of me in the kitchen department….that is of course once I stop having kids and can actually get my kitchen redone.

Anyway, this was one of those non-interesting posts, but I had to post my accomplishment somewhere because with a house full of males they could care less than mom’s reached a goal when it comes to cleaning out the refrigerator.

After my “Letter from Hell” post yesterday, my friend Nell Taliercio of Casual Friday Everyday left a comment and I just want to share the comment along with an even more powerful video with you that Nell shared with me.

Incredibly powerful, left me in tears. It seems like everywhere I turn I get the same message from God that his purpose for me is to be a speaker for him. Tonight, yet another message. Now, I want to thank you Nell! I thought the video I posted was touching, but it didn’t even hold a candle to the one you led me to. Again I’m speechless, but let me just say that your video touched me in so many ways. I’m not good with words, as these past two posts have proven, but Thank you for sharing.
