You might be asking “What IS a Wahmmy anyway?” Here’s my definition of the term (as far as we know we made it up):
A little bit of crazy, a little bit of work, and a whole lot of mommy love.
That’s exactly what you’ll find here at They Call Me Wahmmy. A place for work at home moms and those who want to work from home to come for information, conversation and fun!
Arika Lewis – Founding Wahmmy
Arika is the mom of three and wife to a wonderfully supportive hubby (otherwise known as Hot Hubby), who lives in rural Virginia. She loves working online and having fun. You might find her a bit crazy, but we think you’ll enjoy the craziness and even come to embrace it. Arika started They Call Me Wahmmy in 2007 as a personal blog.
She soon realized it would be a much better resource for WAHMs as a collaborative blog. She is the first to admit super mama she is NOT. Without the help of fellow moms and WAHMs she wouldn’t be able to do nearly half of what she does here. That’s why in the Fall of 2008, she asked some friends and fellow WAHMs to help her make the site a place where work at home moms of all walks of life can come for information and inspiration. The following ladies gladly accepted!
Meet the Wahmmy Team!
The following ladies agreed to bring their knowledge in various areas to the table and share them with you. Be sure to check back often as we are adding new faces in more areas on a regular basis.
