Some of you may or may not know this, but once upon a time I was an affiliate manager. As a matter of fact, I still help people with their affiliate programs every now and again. Don’t get me wrong, I love affiliate marketing and I enjoy helping others with their own programs and even their affiliate marketing efforts, but to be completely honest the whole taking it all over part of affiliate management can burn you out rather quickly and I found myself dangling on that ledge more than once, so now I help where I can when I can.

One thing that I’ve realized over the years (wow it feels pretty good to say that word when it comes to me being in business) in working with affiliate program owners and affiliates themselves is that there is a big misunderstanding, especially with those new to affiliate marketing, when it comes to using graphics to promote a product.
