Fat Loss Quickie: Day 1 – I’m Feeling it Already!

Wow! I started the Fat Loss Quickie program this morning (yeah I’m a day behind which means I’ll be doing 2 days worth today) and I am so impressed already.

Day 1 was broke up into 2 videos.

  1. Weight Training
  2. Cardio

Since I don’t have my stability ball yet, I asked Scott what I could use in place of it. He said to just do the cardio portion until I got my ball. So, that’s what I’ve done so far: Day 1 Cardio.

I plopped myself out of bed this morning (at 6:00 am) and got everyone settled in. With my 3yo and 1yo standing by, I pushed play on the video and got to work. Boy, was it work too! Even BabyGirl chimed in…she was dancing her little heart out.

There were only 2 exercises in this video! Thank goodness (I’m a bit clumsy so it takes awhile for me to get the hang of these things sometimes! LOL)

* Knee Ups (That’s what I call them anyway – can’t remember what Scott calls them)
* Burpies (A pushup/jump mix)

I did very well with the Knee Ups I must say – kept going for the whole 30 seconds each time. As for those darned Burpies – uhhhh…They’re gonna take some work! ;0)

What I loved the most about today’s workout:

My abs are feeling it already, which means it’s working! Before too long I’ll be saying “Bye Bye Baby Bulge! HELLO Sexy Abs!”

<<==Yep, that’s right I want those abs right over there!

So, before I hit the sack tonight I plan to do Day 2′s cardio workout and I’ll be back to let you know how it went. I have a feeling, I’m gonna be in for it. Honestly, I can’t wait! In case you haven’t noticed my energy levels pretty good today too!

    Yeah they did me in too! I was never so glad to see some work on my legs in today’s workout! ;) Of course now my abs AND my legs hurt, but it’s all good. I’m so loving this.
