Good morning everyone! I must say I’m a bit chipper this morning and you might be wondering why even though I got a bit derailed from the Fat Loss Quickie Train over the weekend. I’ve got a few reasons that just may be causing my good mood.

1. Fat Loss Quickie Workouts (A.K.A Computer Butt Challenge, A.K.A. Sexy Mama Abs) – This workout has already improved my energy, focus and sanity even after just 4 days.

2. Today is the first day of school. Though sad because BigBoy is starting Pre-K today and ZMan is starting his first year of middle school, I’m also excited for them both. It’s so amazing watching your little ones grow up isn’t it?

Speaking of which, I’ve only got a few minutes to post this Day 4 update. My day 4 was Friday and I took the weekend off pretty much. So, yes I’ve fallen behind but I have every intention of getting back on the horse today with Day 5, but let’s take a look at what Day 4′s Cardio Session held:

Day 4 Fat Loss Quickie Cardio

  1. Squat Jumps- These were nice – as long as I remembered to stay out from under the ceiling fan that is! LOL Picture that one in your mind if you will…it’s a pretty good laugh for the day.
  2. Shuffle Steps
  3. - These were awesome and the kids got a giggle out of watching mom shuffle step around them like a football player.

My legs felt a little rubbery after these, but I made it through the whole 10 minutes again this time.

Today we also had a Nutrition Tip Video. The key with this video is to keep healthy, fresh foods (like fruits and veggies) around to munch on throughout the day. Scott suggests keeping a bowl of these yummy goodness foods on your desk.

He also mentioned the importance of water and keeping your body hydrated. To quote Scott

“80-90% of fatigue is caused by dehydration!”

So, DRINK UP! :)

Ok, with that I’m off! It’s time to get the kiddos up and at ‘em for the day! I’ll be back later today with my Day 5 progress. In the meantime, you can catch up with what all this “Quickie” talk is about by taking a look at my progress each day so far.
