Ok, I have a huge gap here in my Fat Loss Quickie updates, but I just wanted to check in real quick (where has this Monday gone?) and let you know I’m still here and still doing the workouts.This weekend was a very busy one and included a 4th birthday for Little Man Hunter. Wow – 4 years already – I’m still in shock. He on the other hand, doesn’t seem to notice.
Today has flown by and started with 2 sick kiddos followed by a busted forehead for Little Man right before the bus came which lead to his first missed day of school. He’s ok – he’s tough but mama kept him home just to be safe because I wasn’t sure if he was going to need stitches and to keep an eye on him.
Even with all of those mishaps today, I still managed to jump on my first day of the weight workout of Fat Loss Quickie, and WOW! I was missing so much. I felt great and the energy was even more prominent after I did this portion of the workout today.
I also got quite a bit accomplished business wise today. In fact I just finished up for the day. Not everything on my to-do list got checked off, but a good chunk of it did and I met my goal of working at least 4 billable hours today. I’m happy with myself and can sleep tonight without worrying that I’m behind on things! Ahhh this is a wonderful feeling.

Good to see ya back at it! Sorry about your little one’s mishap this morning.
So sad when they get a bad bump like that. Hope he’s feeling better.
I’m done with my morning Quickie (did the workout first) and back at work for a while. Those goofy side bend things on the floor ball make me laugh. I rolled around all over the place, at least until I figured out to push my feet up against the wall to stay put.
I also commented over on Nicole’s Computer Butt Challenge post today that it’s not a good idea to do the “lay on your stomach on the floor ball” lower back stretch and strengthen thing on a really full tummy.
Just thought you’d like a little heads-up on that!

Yeah, he’s all good today!
I split my workouts up today and did the weight/ball one this morning – so much energy when I do it that way so far.
Those side bends had me cracking up at myself too. Good thing I didn’t have the video camera running or else ya’ll would have been peein’ in your britches watching me.
I love that lay on your tummy one – feels so good! Yeah I can see where having just eaten might pose a bit of a problem. LOL
