As I sit here typing this I am in somewhat of a sentimental mood. In just a few short days, my oldest will be heading back to school and shortly after that my middle child will turn 3! The baby girl is almost 5 months old and I can’t believe how fast it all seems to be happening. I’m doing my best to take it all in and soak up every ounce of it because I know now that time really does fly and we’ll never get back those things we might miss today.

The thought for this post popped into my head just this morning as I was cleaning up my kitchen. In the background I heard Sierra babbling away in her swing and at the same time Hunter came up to me as I was standing at the sink and wrapped his little arms around my leg and said “Love you mom mom!”

It brought me back to the first time Zachary ever gave me a kiss goodnight. I still remember that as if it were yesterday and he’ll be 11 in a few months. I remember sitting on the couch and him coming over to me hugging me around my neck, giving me a big kiss and saying “Nigh Night Moommy!” I loved it so much I made him come back and do it again like 5 times! LOL

This got me thinking: These are the three sweetest sounds I have ever heard. Happiness, contentment and love from my children!
