Toot Toot! I’m So Proud!

I’m jumping on the new meme going around that was  started last week by Marie over at Mommy Community.  However, I’m not tooting my own horn so much as my oldest son, Zach’s.  Yeah I’m a mom, so I can toot my kids horns if I want to! ;-)

Last Friday was report card day at school and Zach was home sick so today he brought his home.  I was going to scan it so I could post it here on the site, but my scanner is acting weird so I’ll just post his subjects and the corresponding grades for the 6 weeks and semester average.

English/Language Arts:  B/B
Mathematics: B/A
Social Science/History: A/A
Science: A/A
Art: A/A
Music: A/A
PE: A/A
Computer: A/A
Library Skills: A/A

Now, that’s not all either!  Here’s an extra toot from mom! :)

Zachary is in the gifted program at school as well and each semester they do an evaluation on 8 different areas.  The scores are as follows:

1 = Needs Improvement
2 = Satisfactory Progress
3 = Outstanding Progress

Imagine my surprise when I saw 3s all the way down the column!  The only note the teacher made was that he is a little too talkative.  Well considering I always got the check mark by the “Talks too much” box in school, I can live with that!
