Last night I received an email from Michel & Sylvie Fortin. Then this morning I woke up to another one from Sylvie: Here’s what it read:

This is Sylvie Fortin.

As you may know, Michel and I are here in New Zealand at
the World Internet Summit.

We were selected to conduct the Challenge Day, which means
that we needed to build a website live on stage with only a
couple of hours to work with.

The rules are that we could build the site live, create a
product, and promote that product throughout this one
weekend. So we only have one day to work with.

ALL the proceeds are going to charity, which we decided
would be breast cancer research — for obvious reasons.

(In fact, Michel’s mom is a breast cancer survivor, too.
She’s living with us while she’s undergoing chemo.)

So this means A LOT to us.

As for the donations, the web site only records pledges.

We simply ask that people promise to make their donation
within 90 days, and they make them directly to the Avon
Crusade website. So we’re not accepting them directly.

Not a single penny.

The grand total will be announced at the end of the Summit.

The product is a teleseminar we will host within the next
30 days or so. The teleseminar itself will answer major
questions people ask about internet marketing.
